Nearing the Middle of May

Wow, the weather sure has been weird lately, especially the temperature. Tuesday it was kind of hot, and I was in flip-flops most of the time. Mom even turned the air conditioner on! Then today it was freezing. I wore a long-sleeve t-shirt and definitely not flip-flops. Halfway through the morning, Lydia informed us the reason it was so cold in the house: nobody had turned off the AC. Fortunately, it has since warmed up.

I'm doing school--lots of it. Summer, come hither!

I ate fish for supper tonight, and it wasn't that bad. The funny thing is it didn't really smell very fishy. Maybe it's because in comparison to the fish I usually handle (live and slimey) it wasn't very fishy. Or maybe it's because I drowned it in tartar sauce before I took a bite.

Guess who will be home in six days? :D
